datapulse_dns_dpsearch

DataPulse IntelligenceScope: datapulse:dnsOutput: CSVRead-onlyDeprecated

Search domains by name/pattern (deprecated)

Description

DEPRECATED — use datapulse_dns_searchlabels instead.

Search the DataPulse database for domains matching a search term. Returns full domain names. The newer searchlabels tool is preferred: it returns labels with their TLD spread, which is more useful for typosquatting, brand variant, and impersonation analysis.

Matches domain-name strings only — does NOT search WHOIS/RDAP contents (no reverse-WHOIS).

Search Behavior:

  • Fuzzy matching: Finds lookalike characters
  • Match types: ’exact’, ‘substring’, ‘fuzzy’
  • Returns top matches by score (server-side limiting via topn)

Response: CSV with header line: count and completeness status, then match, type, score rows. When incomplete, more matches exist beyond the returned set.
