DataPulse MCP Server
The DataPulse MCP server gives AI assistants direct access to DataPulse domain intelligence through the Model Context Protocol. Once you connect it, your assistant can investigate domains for you. It can look up live DNS, registration and health, trace hosting history, find lookalike and typosquatting registrations, cluster related infrastructure, scrape and classify websites, and research UDRP case law.
https://mcp.datapulse.global
It is a remote server using the Streamable HTTP transport, and you sign in with your DataPulse account over OAuth. See Connecting for instructions for Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, opencode and other clients.
What you can do with it
- Investigate a domain. Run a web scrape, DNS and RDAP in one call. This is the best place to start for almost any question about a domain.
- Live lookups. Get DNS with DNSSEC validation, and RDAP for domains and IP addresses. A full health probe checks delegation, nameservers, TLS, HTTP and mail posture.
- History. See hosting and nameserver changes over time, and registrar moves and abuse-contact changes from historical RDAP.
- Lookalikes and brand protection. Search registered domain labels for typosquats, homoglyphs and brand variants across every TLD in the corpus.
- Infrastructure pivots. Find domains with similar DNS infrastructure, their cluster neighborhood, and bulk registration campaigns.
- Legal research. Search UDRP decisions, the WIPO Overview and policy, and the ICANN 2026 Round Applicant Guidebook.
The tool reference lists every tool and its parameters. The
guides are the same documentation your assistant reads
through datapulse_help. They cover methodology, workflows such as typosquatting
detection and malicious bulk registrations, and how to read each tool’s output.
Credits and access
Each tool call uses MCP credits from your plan’s daily allowance. See Pricing for what each plan includes. The tools you can use depend on your account’s plan. A call to a tool your account isn’t entitled to returns an authorization error rather than results.
One call: web scrape + DNS + RDAP for a domain. This is the right first step for most questions about a domain. Your assistant moves on to more specialized tools from there.
